The benefits and features of virtual health care are gaining more attention as a possible solution that addresses the need for more accessible and convenient care. Moreover, the applied approaches to social distancing during the ongoing COVID19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of having a durable, virtual health infrastructure. This article discusses the opportunities, challenges, and possibilities of the virtualization of health care services.
The achievement of greater equality requires that we go beyond simple reforms. First, we must critically examine how patriarchal gender roles, built into capitalism, have been accepted in the past. Second, we must then collectively envision a path forward that leaves the capitalist-patriarchal gender norms behind.
Pursuing an economic focused recovery method is not the best way forward for Brazil. Instead, Brazil needs a leadership which is able to coordinate a solution for the country, that brings stability to the political system, and also safeguards the health and social systems of the nation.
